Prelims will take place at Friday party at 23:00. If you want to compete, you need to be present at 21:30 to register.
OUR TRAM STOP IS OUT OF ORDER
Due to technical reasons all the trams and buses regularly going to our bus stop Vlhká take a different route this weekend. You have to come to the Main train station and walk from there (about 7 min).
WITHDRAW CZECH CASH!
During all parties, we can only accept cash for drinks, food or clothes. All prices are in Czech currency. Don’t forget to exchange or withdraw!
LESSONS AND LEVELS
- All the lessons will be taught in English
- This workshop is for levels Intermediate/Advanced and Advanced. (If you are currently taking Swing Wings lessons for Lindy 5, Lindy 4 and if you will have taken at least 3 Lindy Hop 3 courses by April)
- You will be divided into two groups based on auditions that will take place on the first day in the studio.
- Fro beginners and pre-intermediate dancers (Lindy 2 and if you have taken the first Lindy 3 courses), we recommend the Newbies pass!
PARTIES
Friday – In the Swing Wings studio. Dudes of Ellington. Taster lesson with Swing Wings teachers or guests from nearby communities!
Saturday – Social dance in Lužánky, in the city center. Taster lesson, Heart of Dixie! You can look forward to the handful of Jazzberry teachers´ performances, as well as performances of Swing Wings students and teachers. And JnJ competition.
Sunday– Legendaryí party in 10-Z bunker. This time we are preparing something special! Swing and blues Brno musicians´ jam with the Israeli singer Miss Mikey May in the lead!
TEACHERS
Twice a year we bring a breath of fresh air and new ideas from international teachers to Brno. We choose talents who radiate inspiration, friendly spirit and positive energy.
In this volume, we bring you an inspiration from all stars – some of the most desired teachers on nowadays Lindy Hop scene.
